chess etiquette perpetual check

Is it considered unsportmanslike if you don't reclamate
a draw when you have reached a perpetual that keeps you
from losing and just continue to play the perpetual?

Its not nice. Give the perpetual and offer the draw. Or make the perpetual twice and offer the draw.

I would not say its mean but its time wasting for both sides.

Either player can claim it, so if one player doesn't like it, they can just claim it. Total non-issue.
