3check chess and my future with it

Hey.

Will be short. I will try to make 3+ chess more popular. Maybe create some tournaments, puzzles book or something. People interested in 3+ chess becoming as popular as it deserves should feel free to message and help me.

No, seriously. This variant deserves more. Being one of least popular chess variants on lichess just because there are no learning resources for it and not many tournaments organised is not good. Not at all
I think in 3+ one can't play positionally, brute force calculation is a must. (Btw i can't play it, only watch it :P) So short time control and mistakes make it fun. I believe noone will spend huge amounts of time to learn the theory of 3+.
If you wanna promote it so badly, you can start with a blog with puzzles of basic 3+ combinations and openings. Good luck sir, have a nice day!
Theory unlikely in atomic is not super important in 3+. It's more about calculating and king safety
I searched Google and didn't find any learning resources for 3+ other than my Stockfish fork. I think the reason opening books, endgame books, etc. don't exist is because players don't understand the game well enough to write about it.

I think the presence of a 3+ engine and ability to have it analyze games will greatly assist players in better understanding the game so that one day they'll know enough to begin writing about it.
This is part of the reason I enjoyed discovering 3+ chess. There was no opening theory, so I had to make my own. There are some theoretical openings, e4 for example is sharp and could be crushing if black does not play accurately.
Yup. We come across all those problems. Not a single learning resource in the whole internet. TOmorow I will start a youtube chanel or a blog. Contributors should pm me
Toadofsky's Stockfish fork isn't the only 3+ engine, there's also pulsar. I think I'll do a little experiment to see which is stronger, and see if I can throw together an opening book of sorts.
In contrast to atomic chess or horde, 3+ chess seems much more like a serious variant to me. While the aforementioned sound like great fun in blitz, 3+ chess seems to me, as it could need some serious thoughts and theory. But on the other hand, why don't people play more chess960?

I wish you good luck with your project!
There is some mean theory behind 3+ that I still don't fully get. Opening understanding is a must if you're playing better players, much like in atomic chess. If you're writing about it, building an opening book is a good place to start.
if you guys really want to know how to play this game you should start to watch Orange Space playing, he plays complex lines and sacrifices that no other Master here on Liches do it, it is not for free that he is the number one here.
