1900 classical rating - what does this mean in reality?

Don't worry, be happy. Play to the best of your ability. That's all we can do. If ratings become the target then we are not enjoying the actual play nor focusing on the moves, strategy and tactics. Some players become obsessed with ratings which can destroy the enjoyment of what is a very intellectual and social game.
Everything is explained in the Bible:
"Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! Rating is vanity."
Ecclesiastes 1:2
OP- I'm 29 and started playing chess for the first time ever this past February-I'm a 1600-1700 player on here to give you a beginner reference point.
I think the best feedback is the rating distribution display. Within profile you can click on a category, then click on where it says "better than xx% of blitz/classical players" and the graph compares you to all other lichess users.

eg en.lichess.org/stat/rating/distribution/classical

1600 appears to be *average* on here, so jujugaga you're great for a beginner :)
