Another way to think of it is that if you play a series of matches against the same player, your rating change should depend on the score of the total match, not how that score was achieved, i.e., two draws and a win should result in the same rating change as two wins and a loss.
I found it very stupid, that I had a draw and lost so many points, I clearly was winning on time, but then it counted it as a draw, I'm so mad about this.

if you allow 3fold twice in a game you should not cry about draws.
