@jeffforever Da steht 3+0 blitz 1/1 rounds. Also ist es eher kein Bug, sondern es wurde nur eine Runde eingestellt bei den Einstellungen, so wie es aussieht.
Yeah, we're working on it. After successful tests we deployed it (in beta) and people have found this issue.
our tournament also. has 36 players joining but round 1 could not start because it keeps on saying " Round 1 failed" so we decide d to cancel the swiss tournament and create an arena tournament in team instead. please fix this issue. actually so happy that lichess is implementing swiss already coz it more user friendly than
chess.com...just pls fix the issue
lichess.org/swiss/0ZCAiVZDI realized I set 7 rounds, but the tournament is 3 rounds.
I guess the number is "maximum" and will increase as people register, right?
Just want to say congratulations to all involved for getting something up and running so quickly - I will test it out for our club tournament tomorrow and feedback.
I tried out the Swiss tournament... really impressed with it, especially the intervals that can be set... allows players to chat in between games. Just one thing I noticed, Myself and another player joined the tournament late, wasn't paired for round 1 but both got 0.5 points for a bye.
@BvStaaden When a player can't be paired during a round, they receive a bye worth one point
Thanks... I only went to read the rules afterwards... so now I understand why how the half point system work ... although I still think a zero should be given for a late join or alternatively is there is a good reason for the half point system (I dont know the reason) to give you the option to choose when you set up the tournament whether you want to give half point for late joiners or zero points.
