Training 2207 blunders on queen?

I find it a bit silly, at least on this level, that I should count on the opponent making a mistake like this. A better move (after Ne5) would be Qd2 or Qd1.

You don't rely on your opponent to make a silly mistake: Ne5 is a winning move in any case, winning either the bishop, at least, or the queen, for some material compensation.

Yes Qd2 or Qd1 loses Bc4. A bit strange this problem sort under "difficult" since it wasn't that hard to find.
