My conversation with a cheater

I am posting this in the hopes that this will dispel the myth that cheating doesn't happens at lower levels. This wasn't even a rated game either. It was casual. I got a good position out of the opening. My opponent then spends over 90 seconds on move 13 before crushing me. He was soon banned after I reported him.

Notice the immediate denial then the excuses. Then he doesn't seem to care and calls me the asshole. An interesting look into the mindset of a cheat.

You have been reported for using computer assistance.

You took 93 seconds on move 13 in our game. After that each move took you 5-8 seconds and matched exactly with stockfish. The report has been submitted. It was a casual game so what was the point?

I went for someone's help actually. Another player only. :p

Take care. Bye bye.
There is no "myth".
Everybody is well informed computer assistance occurs at every level.
This is "naming and shaming" in the public forum. Against ToA.
Also, pasting "private" conversations is highly disapproved of, if not against ToA.
The intent here is obvious, has nothing to do with "the hopes of dispelling any myths."
You have openly declared yourself on several occasions to be 2Q1C. Just another (cheat) thread to attract negative attention. Reporting of cheating is a private matter, which someone of your "experience" is well aware of.
The Forum is General Chess Discussion. There is nothing to discuss by this post of naming and shaming.
@NeverBeenTimid

Nice virtue signaling, and attention whoring. Lets see if I can one up you...

Your righteous indignation left the building when you brought it to the forums.

Everything @mdinnerspace said is accurate.

Here is my insight...

1) It was a casual game. If someone is new, and still learning chess basics as your opponent was I don't really find an issue with them having a more experienced player, usually a parent or older sibling, sit over their shoulder and give them some insight on the position. For casual games of course as no rating points are exchanged this can be a good learning method.

2) You were like "Enjoy your IP ban!" Lichess doesn't actually ban anyone for using an engine. They only get an engine assistance tag. They still have every opportunity to play in non rated games.

3) Although I can't stand cheaters I actually find what you have done to be even worse. Naming and shaming is petty, and vindictive. What you have done is a form of cyber bullying, and you owe Pinchpin, and these forums both an apology.
No naming and shaming in the public forum, closing the thread.
