A bit of joke, but seriously speaking, how do you efficiently get followers or friends here?

I have a WILDLY popular stream at twitch.tv/nojokechess. Trust me buddy, you don't want this many followers. It's a terrible burden to be this famous.

I have amassed my followers over a period of time playing on this site.

I don't know why they are helpful to me in any way.

It's a useless metric anyway.
