Opening mastery from level 1 to 10

Hello,

I just made my third public study about what is required to master an opening : lichess.org/study/JJQAfrrl/4UYVdLqC

I hope you will enjoy it ! I will highly appreciate your feedback, in order to rectify or improve some points.

You will find a link in the study to my two previous ones, which were really enjoyed by the players, so don't hesitate to have a look at it too :)

I just added some colours, it will help to better visualize the ideas indeed !
Great job, really. Very interesting, and at the same time a little discouraging. Interesting because it makes you want to study the openings and gives you an idea of what it means to study them seriously. Discouraging because I realize that I will hardly ever achieve even an acceptable mastery of the openings...
Congratulations.

Thank you very much. I'm not really surprised by your comment, and I had even thought it could be a side effect of that work, hence my last note in the conclusion.
Well, I think you have to keep in mind chess is all about a slow progression, it takes years to build a repertoire you master and understand. I'm 30 but I've already 20 years of tournaments behind me. Of course, many players make better and faster than me but you get the idea.
Overrall, if you do a little everyday, you'll get what you want and where you want to be.

I like to hope so.
Not only do I like playing, but I am attracted to all aspects of chess, including the theoretical and knowledge side. Unfortunately, I don't have the time I would like to dedicate to chess. However, I'm in no hurry. As you say, little by little I will try to delve into the labyrinth of chess, as much as possible. Even if just a little, it will be worth it.

That are some wise words !
You can also quit your job, your wife and your family to dedicate all your existence to chess :D
