A suboptimal solution to turning off the feature of opponents adding time.

@Nikola-Kostic Unless the player moves, I can't checkmate him. This rage quitting and time adding are both unsportsmanlike behavior used when a player is losing. The bans don't seem to deter this behavior.

You still didn't address the original point: I should have the option to keep the chess game pure.

I see a lot of people adding time to just BM you. E.g, you're about to be checkmated in a forced sequence of three or so moves, then they spam you with extra time.

Normally though, I just take the extra time they give me and make them regret it when I win. Chess has an imbalance of who makes the first move anyway, imbalances because of adding time (to your opponent) doesn't faze me, personally. A win's a win.

Though I will reserve that if they make it optional, I wouldn't bat an eye, either.
Been here for years. Only players who add time in my experience is when tey are up a consireable amount and want to see it to the end. Or those who don't resign and decide to let their clocks run out, I notice players tend to add time to keep that from happening.
