Seperate beserk ratings - idea from Atrophied case

It is not fine. A player who berserks frequently, can play in U2000/U1700/U1500 tournaments where he otherwise would not be allowed to play. He also has a lower rating than he normally would, so that players underestimate him. If people lose from a berserk player they lose more rating than they normally would if he had his real, higher rating without berserk.
The berserk issue is a known problem, but is the suggestion to divide ratings any better?

In variants there is no bullet/blitz/classical rating at all, one rating to represent all playing ability, no matter if ½+0 or 15+15.
As I said it isn't a problem. You are free to berserk and have fun without being worried about being labelled as a sandbagger. As long as you are trying to win you are good to go.
"As long as you are trying to win"

This sentence sounds so unclear.
What is unclear about it?

I'll try to rephrase so that we are all on the same page. The only way you will get marked as a sandbagger is if you intentionally lose games. Berserking and shitty openings are allowed as long as you aren't losing the games on purpose.

Examples:
You get scholar's mated a number of games in row, and its clear you are aware of this trap = not cool
You resign every game after one move = not cool
You intentionally throw games to get a lower rating = not cool
You play the bongcloud a number of games where you lose the majority but you are trying to win = fine
You berserk every game in a tournament and lose a lot of rating, but you aren't losing on purpose = fine
You berserk and play the bongcloud and lose every game, but you played your best = fine

Edit: I should have also included
You are drunk and as a result you play worse (or better) = fine.
Berserk and play the bongcloud lol
Maybe I'll try that in a casual tourney.
Perhaps just halve rating loss if a player who berserks loses? (also halve rating gain if winning against a player who berserks)
My opinion is berserking was always a terrible idea and having a berserked game affect your rating at all makes 100x more terrible. It would at least by far less terrible if berserking just made a game unrated immediately.

Still terrible either way.
