As a keen bullet player, I have to agree. I think multiple pre-moves actually detract from the game. Time pressure is a very real part of bullet - it is a tactic that, if you are even in a completely lost sequence, you can still attempt to trip your opponent up on time. It might make us upset, annoyed, or rage quit for minutes, hours, or days, but it's a valid strategy and tactic in bullet.
Multiple premoves remove some of that time pressure. For example, in the opening, on
chess.com I have completed a sequence of about 10 moves without interruption doing a variation on the KIA or KID, and at the end of it still have 59 seconds, whereas my non-premoving opponent only has about 45 seconds. That is, admittedly, a slow opponent, but 14 seconds in bullet is as much as 30 minutes in a tournament game.
This, I believe, reinforces an earlier users post: you would have to use it to remain competitive.
However, I am personally loathe to see such a device on this site, as I believe multiple pre-moves remove a key strategy element from bullet at best, and at worst turn the last 10 seconds of a game into a mad scramble of 20 premove-chains, of moving your King, with no attempts of confusing your opponent with checks, blunders or sacrifices.
