Time-limit for points refund from cheaters

"But I am just interested what is the limit of time to catch a bastard to get your rating points back?" when he enters top 200 he gets a check by the cheating bot. and if you report it will be less than a day. if longer he isnt cheating. and you get your rating point when they catch him, but not trying to be mean here, but your rating will than again drop to its true value

Ok, to proof my words in a better way I present two examples.

These are two players I reported: en.lichess.org/@/geroi and en.lichess.org/@/Hovorka
I am sure they cheated in these games respectively: en.lichess.org/HlA4Ec6R/black and en.lichess.org/vRQRtY0Z/black
I did report them immediately after those games. And they were banned, but not immediately, though it did not return my rating points.

I understand this. It's ok not to refund rating for games played long ago. I just want to know how the system works. My question is pretty concrete, I do not understand why there are so many gueses and suggestions without any factual base.

It's a bit hard to read (duck) but I am guessing the limit is 3 days based on:

Query.win(cheater.id) ++ Query.rated ++ Query.createdSince(DateTime.now minusDays 3)
