How to win with Queen's gambit

OpeningStrategyEndgameChessAnalysis
I am writing down few tips on winning games with QGD, also applicable to many other openings

1. start with d4
2. knights before bishop
3. castle early - kingside
4. rooks on open file
5. exchange central pawns
6. activate queen c2, b3, d2, e2 etc
7. bishop on b2, d3, g5
8. Exchange Bishop for knight when
Knight is on the center
capturing knight reduces opponent's threats
win a pawn
9. exchange bishop for bishop if enemy bishop is on the center or having long diagonal
10. exchange rooks on open file but seize the open file
11. avoid rook coming to 7th or 8th rank or landing squares on 7th rank, c or f file
12. avoid knight forks in advance by moving pieces to be forked or defending the lending square
13. avoid f4 is white has no dark squared bishop to defend dark squares near king and black has queen and bishop to check
14. centralize own knight, defend by other knight so that they can replace the square when captured
15. knight outposts when opponent has no pawn or pieces to attack the knight or the pawn
16. escape squares for king with h3 or h4
17. defend every pawn and piece unless their sacrifice gives any winning advantage
18. look for all pawns or pieces that are undefended by the movement of its or others
19. exchanges or going to certain squares are not forcing moves. Only checks or threats of material loss are the forcing moves
20. build more than 2 moves threats in passive way so that opponent could not prevent it
21. attacking fianchettoed bishop by Bh6 is not always useful
22. flank attack with h or a pawn supported by rook, queen others can be threatening
23. having a passed pawn or connected passed pawns anywhere is winning
24. restrict opponent's passed pawn even by sacrificing pieces
25. restrict opponent's king movement and activate own king in the endgame
26. think for more than 3 moves in all rook endgame moves, how to capture pawns, restrict king, promote own pawn and create mating threats
27. in all other pieces or pawn endgames, passed pawn and restricting the king is the most important winning tactics
28. under time pressure, opponent can be deluded with mistaken but apparently right move
29. repeating moves in middle game and endgame is good but not in opening
30. in closed structure, exchange pawns and pieces as much as possible and get a passed pawn
